The KMI 3 Series The KMI three-series is a wonderful introduction to the work and can stand alone as its own “mini-series”. The 3 Series can be used an introduction to Structural Integration, but is best undertaken as a tune up after receiving a full 12 Series. Session 1: The first session address the lower body from the feet up to the bottom of the rib cage to develop support and grounding. Session 2: The second session works with the upper body, focusing on opening up the breath, improving function and balance of the shoulder girdle, and differentiating the muscles of the abdominal core. Session 3: In the third session we integrate the shoulder girdle and pelvis. This involves detailed work with the back and deep spinal musculature, touch up work from previous sessions, and movement integration into gait and other functional patterns.
